I used measurement chart I got from internet http://www8.plala.or.jp/hotahota/sd_size.html
with a little bit “guessing” on some parts.
The data, mostly, is quite enough for making basic pattern using formula I have…
There are 2 version on this one picture. That’s why there are like double lines on it…

I times the data with 3 then “make” the real calculation to make basic pattern. Then, after that, I divide it back with 3.
Why not just use the raw data? it’s 1/3 already. It’s because, in the formula, sometimes, we must add like 6 or divide by 3. These kind of numbers are for real measurement only. I could modify the formula first but that for me it was just inefficient and not fast. I’d rather calculate the real then divide by 3. It’s faster.

I don’t have the dollfie, though, but it’s interesting to make the cloth. Now, I can make clothes that I will think twice to wear it but in a cost-saving-size (^O^). Why not using my own-down scaled-body-measurement? Because there’s no doll with my down scaled-body (^O^). I wish, I have dollfie one day as my model although that’s almost impossible. It’s very expensive!!!!!…
Not really, it’s just, I have another thing (s) I’m interested more than buying this doll (^o^).

I don’t know whether this pattern can be used for real, on the doll, or not, I can’t test it but it’s ok. I took a risk to use my favorite formula. In real, I use this formula to make my own clothes and it’s the fittest. That’s the risk: FITTEST! With no model like now, it has a risk that if one day I have the doll, this pattern may be a little bit too small.
There’s another kind of patterns I have. I got it when taking sewing course. It’s a good pattern but I don’t favor it:
1. It’s hard to modify. Don’t know why, but may be because the measurement taking is not as much as my favorite formula, so it’s not quite details.
2. It’s a little bit loose if I use it raw (without some modification).
3. The formula (s) is hard to remember, yet too many!!!!

If you have some variation of basic pattern and still new like me in making dolls clothes, perhaps, the best pattern is those that is not too fit. Not, really loose, but not like “the very fit”.

There are also some sources of free pattern but I never comfortable of using this. I’d rather make my own basic pattern, so I can modify as I like and can sell the stuff made from modified patterns. (Mmm…why would I sell basic pattern? That’s kind of secret (^u^) ).

A lot of people use pattern software. So, if you one of them, why not having fun exploring the measurement chart to make your own doll clothes pattern (^.^)
PS: mmm…Super Dollfie is definitely non-curvy body…
